Welcome to Irvins.

We're an easy-going, high quality dining experience located at the eastern end of the North Shields Fish Quay. Drop in anytime, there's no need to book unless you want to be absolutely certain of your table. We are really busy, especially on a weekend, but we have a bar and lounge area not open for reservations and still serving our full menu. You can always pop in unannounced and find a spot here, if not on the main restaurant floor.

If you just want a drink or a snack, we offer fresh roast and ground coffees, organic 'Suki' teas, brilliant wines, speciality European beers, fine real ales, sandwiches and cakes alongside our full lunch and dinner menus. 

Our focus is on simple, good value yet stylish food served in a modern, friendly environment. The brasserie encapsulates Head Chef and Owner, Graeme Cuthell's passion for great food and excellent service alongside a relaxed dining experience.

We're a quality establishment but with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A great place to eat, drink and relax.

The Fish Quay is a local gem and at Irvins we're adding a little bit of extra flavour.

Irvins now open from 10am for coffee and muffins Weds to Friday, 9am Sat and Sunday for Breakfast.
